CRC1425 researchers and their teams have, for the first time, mapped the cellular dynamics of heart healing after a heart attack.

Using advanced single-cell and spatial transcriptomics, the teams developed a molecular atlas showing how immune cells, particularly macrophages, coordinate tissue repair. Published in Nature Cardiovascular Research, the findings highlight potential therapeutic targets to reduce scarring and promote regeneration, marking a major step toward precision treatments that harness the heart’s natural repair mechanisms.
